Bumping into each other

When shooting the moment the friends bump into each other I took many shots from different angles so that we could explore what sequence of shots we could use in post-production. The one that I had envisioned was one where we would follow Max in from behind him and as the bump approaches we would switch to the exact side-view. This way when the viewer follows Max in they can see the impending danger before him and can see how unaware of his surrounding him and his friend are. From the side viewpoint the contact is mutual as in no-one has initiated it and so it does look like just a careless mistake on both their parts.
