Reflections 1

Charlotte has finished the film and I have seen it in her Dropbox. I’m very pleased with the result for such an ambitious project however I can point out many weaknesses. Firstly although I’m pleased with my filming I regret not attempting to shoot it on the phone camera selfie style, I feel that it would easier to read the texts if they came up big on the centre of the screen and the viewer would be able to tell who’s texting who. This brings me onto my text point, I don’t think it’s clear which text belongs to who because on one shot Max’s text is off of his phone and on another its coming off of someone else’s. I also don’t think the texts come up long enough to be read. I told Charlotte that they could be on the screen longer and the texts themselves should be shorter and she took my advice and put them on for longer. I think the text could do with being a little bigger as well except for the title sequence which I thought was first class. Finally I believe it would be easier to read the texts if there was only one of them on the screen at once.
