Her

Her is a 2003 film by .... .I thought i would analysis Her because it explores a lot of ideas that we want to explore in 'Silenced'. 'Her' is a love story at its core but one that uses the notion of love to explore issues of humanity such as what makes us human, and the body mind complex. The main character is a lonely introverted man who has had love in his memories which he continues to look back on but now he is lonely and depressed. This changes after he gets a new operating system who he starts to talk to and falls in love with. Samantha the operating system seems very human but she doesn't have one requirement that one we deem as crucial for human identity; a body. Although she can do most things that a human can viewer wonders if the relationship will work. This is that same question which i think our film will ask, in a relationship without talking and a limited touch will it be the same? Max questions this as he watches the old film and he is jealous of them. Talking is such an integral part of the human condition that if it is lost we wonder if society would be as warm and comfortable.
